Thomas Rhoades, Chief of Police / Corporate Director of Public Safety, Parkview Health System, Fort Wayne, IN

We have used SWA on several different occasions ranging from conducting security risk assessments on our 10 campuses, to providing education and training for our Home Health & Traveling nurse programs and behavioral health facility.  While I have been very pleased with the service we have received, what I have found most valuable is the relationships we have with Steve, Chris and the rest of their team.  When we don’t have an assignment going on with them, we still have a partner watching the news around the world from OSHA to Joint Commission, notifying us of trends and best practices.

Joseph Lange, Facilities Manager, Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital,Marshfield, WI

I have utilized Sorensen, Wilder & Associates for vulnerability assessments in all of my security sensitive areas. They have been excellent in their appraisals and provided cutting edge interventions in areas that needed them. They are a first rate organization.

Ken Richardson, MSM, CHFM, Facilities Manager, Saint Anthony Hospital Alton, IL

Sorensen, Wilder’s work in the area of Security Consulting exceeded my expectations. After we had a serious security breach at one of our hospitals, they provided expert Security Consulting services for the hospital system. Their summary presentation/report was very professionally drafted, complete with executive summary, photos, how we compared to other hospitals, and recommendations’ to make improvements. Their demeanor was well suited for our hospital environment; I hope to work with them again in the future.

Stan Szpytek, President and CEO, Fire and Life Safety, Inc. Phoenix, AZ

I am proud to say that I have worked with Sorensen, Wilder and Associates on a number of exciting and challenging projects since 2004. I was aware of Mr. Wilder's outstanding reputation as a leader in the fire service in Illinois prior to knowing him as a professional colleague. I have been in a position to retain Mr. Wilder and his firm to provide specialized consulting assistance to several of my clients including on-site training in Recognizing and Defusing Aggressive Behavior in the Workplace as well as conducting a comprehensive Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) of an industrial foundry operation that does contract work for NASA and other high tech companies. I have found their entire team to be consummate professionals in every element of our relationship. They clearly put their clients’ needs first and have developed a premier consulting network. Equally as important, Steve Wilder is a man of
integrity and someone who would be an asset to any project he is awarded.

Stephen Frew, JD, Risk Management Consultant, Johnson Insurance, Inc. Madison, WI

I have worked with Steve and his group for more than 20 years and they are my first recommendations to clients in need of emergency, disaster, and safety or security planning and training. His group brings front line experience and professional expertise that can save lives and protect property in the most dangerous situations.

Steve Land , Emergency Management Coordinator, Williamson County, IL

We contracted with SWA to develop the Tactical Interoperable Communication Plan for the County. As the newly appointed
EMA Coordinator, I really had no idea where to begin. Dan Wilder and the SWA team were great to work with in getting me
started, and in getting the final TICP written and tested.

Karl Eleazer, Compliance Officer, Macon, GA

I have attended several of your workshops on Workplace Violence and more recently Emergency Preparedness. I have been doing this for over 40 years and have been through multiple emergencies where I had to evacuate, defend in place and/or receive residents from other facilities. I thought I had it pretty much figured out until I instituted the Incident Command System for preparation and management of Hurricane Irma. We were very fortunate in that we received little impact from Irma other than heavy rains. However, we did not know how severe our "hit" would be until hours before the storm actually arrived. I have to tell you the Incident Command System implementation worked like a charm. While we had issues during this almost 8 day period, the system made management so much easier. I humbly apologize for my silent thoughts during your workshop that I knew how to do this. Thank you again for your guidance and I highly recommend you and your company as well as use of the Incident Command System.
